Open Mesh Fabric
Open Mesh Fabric. Bocheng has developed a full range of open mesh belt. They are used in a variety of applications where materials are handled in high temperature environments. These belts can be used in the textile, screen printing, packaging, electronics, food and other industries. These belts are durable and perform well in the -70~260℃ operating temperature range.
Open mesh fabric is ideal for conveying products in high efficiency air distribution systems for optimal dehumidification and are commonly used in UV and IR drying units.
Open mesh fabric are manufactured from a PTFE coated glass mesh and are commonly used in high temperature applications that require good air flow though the belt. The PTFE coating also provides excellent release properties making it is the most common and rare choice for a wide range of applications, widely used for drying screen printing, food processing, packaging and handling at high temperatures. Our PTFE mesh conveyor belts can be manufactured into endless conveyor belts with sealed edges to your requirements.
We have a piece of article “Open Mesh Fabric Belt VS Stainless Steel Belt, Who is Winner?”, in which we list all the detailed information and its comparison with stainless steel belts.

Anti Static Mesh Conveyor Belt:
Anti static mesh conveyor belt is also available, for this part, I will detail along with the PTFE ANTI STATIC FABRIC.
Open Mesh Fabric Maximum Width:
4.43 meter
Color:
Brown or black.
Open Mesh Fabric Type:
Available in a variety of mesh sizes including 0.5x1mm, 1x1mm, 2×2.5mm, 4x4mm and 8x8mm etc. They offer varying proportions of open areas for air circulation, improved drying times and reduced heat loss. PTFE mesh conveyor belts are available in widths up to 4000 mm (157 inches), and any size can be customized accordingly. Cutting the PTFE mesh fabric to the exact size required is an important point to avoid belt runout.
Application:
It can be used for textile drying, screen print drying, packaging machines, shrink wrap, drying lines, food transfer. Nonwoven, printing, screen printing, dyeing machine dryer conveyor belt. Garment fabric shrinking machine conveyor belt, high frequency dryer, UV dryer. Conveyor belt for hot air dryer, quick-frozen machinery. Conveyor belt for paper varnishing and waxing and oiling machine, factory engineering. Conveyor belt for sealed automatic packaging machine. Dividers for cardboard production. For processing, packaging and handling of various food and pharmaceutical products.
Why Shall We Use the Teflon Conveyor Belt?
Many consumers may doubt why Teflon conveyor belts is necessary. I think this question can be answered in two points – cost and normal continuous production.
Our belt is usually used in various industiral machines, where the temperature is usually above 200 degree Celsius, e.g, for the packaging machine sometimes the package to be packed or sealed may get stuck to the machine, if we have the workers to clean it, it takes more time, and it would surely influence the normal procution or even bring about the late delivery. In all, the teflon conveyor belt ensures the less cost and shorter delivery time.

Types of joints for PTFE open mesh belts: The most popular joint is the bullnose joint made of PTFE coated Kevlar mesh, which is flexible and strong. Stainless steel joints and spiral joints are also available. Some applications require the belt to be smooth and without any joints, Bocheng can also customize PTFE mesh belts as a seamless type.
Edge reinforced type of PTFE mesh belts. The edge reinforcement is made of heat-sealed PTFE film, PTFE-coated glass fiber and PTFE-coated fabric. We also provide a guiding system along the edge to prevent the belt from running out of alignment. The guiding system consists of sewn PTFE cords or Kevlar cords with stamped stainless steel buckles.
PTFE mesh conveyor belts are suitable for various heat tunnels, such as screen printing dryers, shrink film packaging machines, textile dryers, food baking machines and rubber vulcanizing machines.
Teflon mesh belts are divided into fiberglass mesh belts and Kevlar mesh belts, most heat tunnels only need fiberglass mesh belts. Kevlar belts are suitable for applications that require higher strength and better moisture resistance.
